Norbert Goertz

Chief Executive Officer of Processing business unit, Chief Executive Officer of Processing North America

Mr. Goertz joined Thyssen Handelsunion AG (today ThyssenKrupp Services AG) in 1995 from KPMG Deutsche Treuhand-Gesellschaft AG in Düsseldorf, Germany, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions. At Thyssen Handelsunion, he oversaw the Mergers and Acquisitions department. In 1997 he was transferred to Thyssen Inc., NA in Detroit, (presently thyssenkrupp Materials NA, Inc.), where he served as Vice President of Corporate Controlling and Development.

In 2001, Mr. Goertz was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of thyssenkrupp Materials NA, Inc. Mr. Goertz has overall responsibility for financial planning and corporate development, and has been instrumental in completing a series of successful acquisitions by thyssenkrupp Materials North America.
