CPVC (Corzan® CPVC)
CPVC, also known as Corzan CPVC, is a high heat, corrosion resistant, chlorinated polyvinyl chloride material. CPVC displays excellent corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures and is ideally suited for self-supporting constructions where high temperatures are a concern. Depending on material grade/chemistry, CPVC can be used at temperatures as high as 180°F (82°C).
Corzan® CPVC exhibits excellent fire resistance properties and meets UL-94V-0 standards, with a flame spread less than 20 per ASTM E–84.
CPVC thermoplastic sheet or pipe is commonly used in industrial applications where impact resistance and fire resistance are important.
